Warnings of in app purchases also get more visibility after update
Apple's newest update to the App Store has seen apps' age rankings and whether the sport contains in-app purchases positioned in a more outstanding place.
The data was previously at the bottom of an app's data page. Nonetheless, the redesign sees the data placed between the developer's name and the score stars.
The changes come after a spate of incidents where children ran up large
bills on in-app purchases. Apple refunded some, and publicly stated
parents should ensure parental locks should be turned on when giving an
iOS device to a child.
However, Apple hasn't refunded everyone though. Last week, a father reported his child to the police for fraud after Apple refused to refund a £3,700 bill.
